Ever since Tara was as a child she was very particular on her personal style, she would give her mother precise instructions of what outfits she would want to wear. Tara’s admiration for fashion transcended as a teenager when she was given her first Fendi pochette by her mother at fourteen years old.

Tara’s love for fashion emerged throughout high school, taking fashion design and photography electives. While most teenage girls shopped at the mall, Tara preferred shopping around Manhattan at the original Patricia Field Boutique and Saks Fifth Avenue. She admired the innovative style of celebrities and Manhattan socialites. She idolized models like Bridgette Bardot, Marilyn Monroe, Kate Moss and Helena Christensen.

Tara studied Fashion Buying, Merchandising and Visual Arts at Nassau Community College and The Fashion Institute of Technology. Her parents saw how passionate she was and enrolled her for an aboard study in France where she took courses on etiquette, wine tasting and attended fashion shows in cities like Nice, Monte Carlo, Grasse and Paris.

After graduating, Tara worked as a sales stylist at Scoop NYC which was a new fashion forward and upscale clothing boutique for men and woman. During that summer Tara was offered a job as an Executive Assistant at Citigroup (a Fortune 500 Company). The thought of a secretarial job dismayed her until she figured she could use this as a stepping stone into the corporate world.

A self proclaimed “foodie” Tara often dined at hot spots such as Serafina, Nobu, Jean Georges, Butter and Bond Street . She frequented some of Manhattans most exclusive nightclubs where only celebrities and models would go to party. She favored stores like Barney's New York, Louis Vuitton and Dolce Gabanna.

In May 2009, Tara posed for Playboy in a “Sexy Woman of Wall Street” pictorial. With much hype on her story Inside Edition featured her in a special edition behind the scenes story which made major headlines across the U.S.

Tara has continued to pursue her lifelong dream and work within the fashion industry. Today, Tara is a Design Assistant at a Costume Jewelry Company and designs earrings in her spare time. Tara continues to dine at the newest "IT" restaurant and often attends star studded events in New York and Los Angeles. Through her personal experiences Tara shares her knowledge on current trends and guides men through the perils of fashion and relationships.
